How Clearlane handles your information

Clearlane is a lead-generation and education site. We keep this policy short and honest.

What we collect

  • Lead form (panel load): name, email, optional phone, ZIP, upgrade interest, optional message, and calculator summary fields (verdict, demand amps, service amps, etc.).
  • Install-cost ZIP: the install-cost calculator may collect an optional ZIP for display and future local labor context. Today that ZIP is not sent to Clearlane servers or used in the pricing model — it stays in your browser session for the estimate UI only.
  • Future rebate / incentive email capture: if we later offer optional email signup for rebate or incentive reminders, we will collect only the email (and any state/ZIP you choose to share) for that purpose, with clear consent at the point of capture.
  • Email to the operator: when configured, lead submissions are emailed to the Clearlane operator via Resend so they can follow up.
  • Browser localStorage: a backup copy of submitted leads may be stored in your browser for this site.
  • Calendly: if you book on the thank-you page, Calendly processes scheduling data under its own privacy policy.
  • Local server file (non-Vercel): when running off Vercel, leads may also be appended to a local leads.jsonl file on the host.

Outbound partner & affiliate click-outs

Clearlane may link to independent installer-quote marketplaces, merchants, or other referral partners. Those outbound links can use rel="sponsored" and may include tracking parameters. Clicking them takes you to a third-party site that has its own privacy policy. Clearlane does not control those sites, does not sell your lead data to them from our forms by default, and those partners are not Clearlane contractors. We may earn a commission or referral fee if you request quotes or purchase through those links.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not use lead submissions for unrelated marketing lists.
  • We do not claim your calculator result is a formal electrical design or permit document.
